Sandra Esteves

Sandra has over 25 years of experience in biotechnology research and development and is internationally recognised as an expert in anaerobic treatment technologies. She is a Professor in Bioprocess Technologies for Resource Recovery at the University of South Wales (UK) where she has directed the Centre of Excellence for Anaerobic Digestion since 2008.
Sandra is a passionate advocate for the deployment of biotechnology to bring about societal benefits as well as industrial and economic opportunities.
